As Batman exits the Batcave, he sees a wave of RHYNO helicopers fly across the sky. He uses his grapple to hold on to one of the helicopters and gets flown to a city battle. He hears missiles and glides on to a rooftop. He see that a lengthy crater has seperated the RHYNO operatives from the attackers. The game then cuts forward two months and it is revealed that Batman has formed The Force of Altor, a group of heroes that protect Altor. It is then shown the attacking part of the city has been walled off and Batman has secretly infiltrated it. He then contacts Alfred and asks for information on the cause of the attack.
