Synopsis[]
The synopsis was realesed to the web January 30th, 2012.
- "Batman LEGO games all have 3 chapters so far, but this will have 5"
- "Chapter 1 will be based off the movies"
- "Chapter 2 will be based off the games"
- "Chapter 3 will be based off the comics"
Only 3 chapters were mentioned. It is unknown which movies, games or comics they will be based off of. The other 2 chapters are currently top secret. Pictures leaked online show a cut-scene where Deathstroke shoots at the Batwing, more proof at the Arkham Forever-based chapter.

Plot[]
- Lock-Up will be in Story Mode.
- Ventriloquist's dummy, Scarface, will burst into flames after Ventriloquist's defeat, like in ElectricMayhem's fanon movie, proof that the "movies" chapter will be based off EM's fanon movie series.
- Hush will be the final boss of one chapter, proof the "games" chapter might be based off Batman: Arkham Forever.
- Though Poison Ivy is not yet confirmed, a fight with somebody in the Gotham Botonical Gardens has been mentioned.
- Superman and Green Lantern will be mentioned, and also somebody not yet confirmed from the JLA will make a special cameo.
- The mysterious JLA guest-star will be somebody who did not appear in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super-Heroes, leaving out Superman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman.
- There will be a big threat that Batman needs help with.
